DEPREMİN ETKİSİNİN YARALARINI SARMAK İÇİN HİZMET EDİYORUZ
30 Ekim 2020 tarihinde özellikle İzmir şehrini trajik şekilde etkileyen depremden sonra, MD118 R yönetim çevresi Lionları ve Leoları ihtiyaç duyulan ve yetkililerce talep edilenlerin yanı sıra su, meyve suyu, süt, sabun, gıda, hijyenik malzemeler, çocuk bezi, maske, dezenfektan, kıyafet, yastık, battaniye, çocuklar için oyuncak, boyama malzemesi sağlamak için yoğun bir şekilde çalışmaktadır.

Pandemi sürecinde arama kurtarma çalışmaları süresince binlerce maske ve dezenfektan dağıtılmıştır. 

Depremin üçüncü gününde kurtarma çalışmaları hala devam ettiğinden, Lionlar ve Leolar, vatandaşların yanı sıra arama kurtarma ekiplerine de destek vermek için ellerinden geleni yapmaktadır. 

Paylaşımdan ziyade gece gündüz hizmete odaklandıklarından, elimize ulaşan fotografların bir kısmını paylaşmayı arzu ediyoruz. 

118R yönetim çevresi Lionlarına, Leolarına ve Lion Esengül Erkan’a çok teşekkür ederiz. 

Ayrıca Türkiye genelindeki Lionların ve Leoların da bu değerli çalışmalara destek verdiklerini belirtmek isteriz. 


SERVING TO HEAL THE EFFECTS OF THE EARTHQUAKE
After the tragic earthquake that has affected especially the city of Izmir in Turkey on October 30th, 2020, Lions and Leos of District 118R of MD118 Turkey have been working hard to provide water, fruit juice, milk, soup, food, hygienic materials, diapers, masks, disinfectants, clothes, pillows, blankets, toys and paints for kids, and whatever is requested or needed by the authorities.

Thousands of mask and disinfectants have been distributed since all of the rescue efforts are being carried out during the pandemic.

And, since the rescue efforts are still continuing on the third day after the earthquake, Lions and Leos are doing their best to support the rescue teams as well as our citizens.

They are busy with serving night and day more than sharing, therefore we would like to share some of their photos that have reached us.
